The last bus on a Sunday is an express, but it's usually packed with students and you'd need to be there 20-30 minutes early to get on it and not the overflow bus which stops everywhere.

I doubt there'd be enough take-up for a full express service every day, but a semi-express with only one stop in Carlow wouldn't be a bad idea.

But this is Bus Eireann we're talking about.
