Best ISP to get for me?

We're with vodafone now and the speeds are horrible. We can't get UPC or Magnet yet in our area which sucks. We tried to get Wimax but they said said all the slots in your area are taken. We don't really want to go back to Eircom but might have to if there's no one else to get. What do you guys think?
