If you have an issue - use the Report Post function & don't comment on-thread. (Mods don't read every single post in their fora.)

They were fliming Neverland there. It's a two part prequel to the Peter Pan story.

I was in Howth yesterday and there was a crane pulling a red car out of the sea - we all thought it was the detective series, there were garda boats around too.

That's probably filming there aswell so maybe that's what you saw yesterday but I know Neverland were definitely there too.

Cameras will roll at the end of this week on the Dublin set of Parallel Films’ ‘Neverland’ a two-part prequel to the Peter Pan story commissioned by Sky Movies HD starring Oscar nominee Bob Hoskins (Hook, Made in Dagenham), Golden Globe nominee Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies, Bathory) and BAFTA nominee Rhys Ifans (Not Only but Always).

The 2 x 90 minute project, the first original feature length commission for Sky Movies HD, is written and directed by Nick Willing (Alice, Tin Man).

The Irish producers on board include Redmond Morris (The Reader, Notes on a Scandal) and Alan Moloney (Triage, Intermission) for Ireland’s Parallel Films on behalf of MNG Films and in association with Syfy and Sky Movies.
    ....

Production is currently underway for the first part of the shoot which has the team in Genoa, Italy for a few days but the project will move to its new home of Swords at the end of this week for an eleven week shoot.

That was 'tragic' incident. Second one involving a car in just a few months.

It's not Neverland. It's a TV film for Hallmark called 'The Santa Incident'. They were filming in the old Techcrete factory. It stars Ione Skye and the big hairy bloke from Braveheart. Santa is preparing for Xmas and gets shot out of the sky by an F-14 over Oregon!?, holes up in someone's garage, makes friends with the kids and has bad people, FBI and an elf SWAT team trying to get to him.

Right now I think they've all gone off to lunch as they are filming in my next door neighbour's house for the week.

Like I said, there can be more than one thing being filmed :) I know someone working on Neverland, they were definitely out in Howth last week. Sounds like there's lots going on out there at the moment film wise though!

There is indeed a good bit of filming going on. Next door and the Techcrete, which the OP was asking about, are the Santa one. However there was also crews down on the harbour around last weekend which could well be Neverland. There was also something going on near the summit a few weeks ago which looked like a 2nd unit.

Apparently Johnny Depp was out there too last Tuesday. They rented out the whole of Aqua restaurant. I saw the blonde guy from Ally McBeal starring in the film too.

The Santa Incident is on Christmas 24 (Sky 327) at the moment and is repeated a few times this week. My kids are loving it.
