Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok Im in a bit of a quam and cant seem to get any credible information from any of the lovely state bodies...

    Here is my problem.

I started in Back to Education (BTEA)this September and started a 4 year course in college. As part of the BTEA I am entitled to work 19 hours a week.

Where it gets interesting is, I want to make some money by taking my hand to Djing and help pay some of the costs of college etc. As a Dj I know I can probably do this cash in hand and get away with it for a long time but I dont want to go down this line and risk being caught.. If I was to register as a business to pay vat will I be excluded from BTEA next year and will it affect me when I have to sign on to JSB in the summer as I know a lot of people self employed who were turned down for Jobseekers.

I can only see myself earning 200-300 a month from this enterprise so its not as if I can live on it.

What are my options??? I cannot afford to loose the BTEA as this barley even cover the rent (Im not entitled to rent allowance, medical card etc) Is there a way I can be covered tax wise for the part time work and still keep my allowances??
