Looking to buy an Xbox for the kids for Xmas. Is there any good offers around at the moment or should I wait till nearer the time?

you could order it off littlewoods ireland and pay it off by the month, i got mine a few days ago it was 270e but i used a code XV218 and got 10% off so it worked out at 242e

I can't find the 250GB one for €270

Prices to me look actually extremely inflated as probaly to cover finance options.

Cheapest i see is the 4GB console at €289?

If you dont have a Smyths loyalty card Im sure you know someone who does...they give them out handy enough,you get 10 percent off with it.
Im almost certain as well Smyths take deposits.

Smyths don't take deposits and the loyalty card only works on games. And the 10% is only on the first week of release!
