Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Got a new custom made frame and I can't install headset as the difference between headtube inner diameter and headset cups is more than recommended.

Anyone knows any bikeshop able to do it? Can't do it myself as special tool from Parktool is round 700-800euro.....

    thanks

What brand is the frame? I'd expect a custom made frame to be properly prepped for assembly.

I think Cycleways have the appropriate reamer - worth calling them.

seems like they don't do that or don't have the tool

Contact the frame manufacturer and check if there are any headsets within tolerance?

I had a problem like this before when assembling a bicycle. Removing the paint from the steerer tube was enough to allow for things to fit together. May not be the same in your case but it might be worth a mention.
