We need to paint our house again. The paint has never taken very well to the walls. It bubbles up and flakes off after a year or two. In places there is fungus growing. We need to paint our house again. The paint has never taken very well to the walls.

The following advise has been recommended to us.

1) Scrape off as much paint as possible with a scraper and wire brush.
2) Apply a coat of Sandtex Stabilising Solution.
3) Paint using Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint.

Is there a good fungus remover that we could use after between step 1 and 2 above?

Any reputable paint supplier should be able to provide one. Ask them about anti fungal wash too if you are getting fungus on the walls
