Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Decent camera shops in the North?

    Does anyone have a regular shop they go to in the North to buy new lenses, cameras etc?
    I'm looking to buy a new Sigma 150-500, €950 in Dublin,
    compared to €870 in uk at todays exchange rate (0.845).

    I've searched last 6 pages of threads in case this has already been asked recently but didn't see any similar post.

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Jessops or Calumet in Belfast are both quite good

    Jessops are quite expensive, their price for the lens is £780 which is €923.

    I've just emailed Calumet - thanks for your help.

    Is it really worth 80 bucks though?????? Factor in petrol which will be about 40 quid return Dublin to Belfast and then the 4 hour return journey. Is it really worth, I don't think so
