Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Managed to injure my hand removing my Krypto Evolution Mini from its bracket.. its really stiff coming out and the force sent my hand flying into the frame. ouch.

Am I some kind of special shrinking violet or has this happened to anyone else? dunno what I can do really, its really stiff

I regularly get injured by my Kriptonite NY as well. I hit myself with it once, dropped it on my foot, killed my back with it cycling home being too lazy to move things in my bag around, tripped over it ...
I am quite clumsy ... maybe you are too.

I don't use the bracket, but yes it is insanely stiff and when I pondered attaching the bracket to my frame, I imagined exactly the same fate for my hand. So now I just leave the lock in work.

I sat down for about a half hour with a file for my Evolution Mini bracket, slips in handly now.
for the price you pay for the lock its hard to believe you have to do this though. before filing it, i could not get it to fit at all, it would not click into place.

Nah your not alone, I do this regularly with various things. My wife now just says !A victim of your own stupidity again?" and I nod as I'm normally in pain.

Best one recently was putting a piece of paper under the leg of the table to balance it "Hero" I lean over unbalanced (As these things normally start) pull up on the table with one hand and jam my fingers and piece of paper under the leg as I also push down on the table again to get my balance. This is followed by a stifled "Jasus Wept" on the inhale while I glance at CycleGal who just gives me the your so pathetic but I have to love ye look.

Another time a pal of mine was putting duct tape on the front of a kayak and trying to get it on tight pulled so hard that the tape broke and he punched himself in the mouth. I had to look away and nearly ruptured something trying not to burst out laughing, until he did and then with bloodied lips he told CycleGal and well not much in the line of sympathy.

Anyway my life ladies and gents!!

    Velo Bro!
