Change from Eircom to ?

I am currently with eircom and am paying about €51 a month for 3mb broadband and off peak calls. UTV internet are €41.99 and Vodafone are €38 for a similar package. I am tempted to move but I have heard horror stories about reliability issues with Vodafone not so much UTV. How do people find UTV? Any opinion on what to do?

Both companies are sh*t if anything other than basic set up issues occur with your router. For example if your connection suddenly goes bad they are fairly powerless to fix it since they rely on Eircom and Eircom will only fix certain types of problems. They don't really care about performance related issues.

I'm with UTV and have found them consistently good apart from a couple of bad patches (one yesterday). Would get 6-7mb download speed and latency of 30-35 ms to Irish sites, 40-60 to UK.
