Daft's use of "Wheelchair Access" in Lettings Search

In the Advanced Lettings Search, Daft include "Wheelchair Access" as one of the Facilities Options prospective tenants might select.

Yet, Search Results too frequently include properties with front steps; some are long flights, others just a couple, but all are barriers to wheelchairs and mobility scooters ... for example: http://www.daft.ie/searchrental.daft?id=945774 ; http://www.daft.ie/searchrental.daft?id=939084 ; http://www.daft.ie/searchrental.daft?id=922611 .

I can't help but wonder why Estate Agents and others are permitted to categorise such obviously IN-accessible lettings as suitable for those to whom truly level entrances are life necessities.

What good is a house or apartment whose internal design accommodates a wheelchair, if one can't enter the property in the first place?

Have you been in touch with the landlords or agents for these properties?

You really can't judge from a couple of photos that they're wheelchair inaccessible. For starters if you look at your second link you will see there is actually some sort of ramp to the left of the doorway.

The third link has a couple of steps but the landlord might have a ramp or be willing to put one in for a tenant. Ramps don't always look good so aren't necessarily included in the photos.

I'm not seeing any problem here though?

er...perhaps the wheelchair access is through a different entrance (e.g. through the back of the house)???
