Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

M50, Army convoy, Gas masks and guns

Ok so i regularly see garda bikes, army trucks and garda helicopter heading along the M50 in a convoy with a few brinks trucks transporting money or something. But today 5.15pm northbound between tallaght and the naas road was TOTALLY different. At least 8 massive army tanks were rollin down the M50 with 2 people standing up out of each of them, wearing huge gas masks and holding massive guns, constantly looking all around. It was the craziest thing i've ever seen. Not a brinks truck in sight (or a police helicoptor strangely enough). I did think i caught a glimpse of a prison van a good 500m ahead but not sure that this had anything to do with it as it was travelling much faster and in a different lane to all the army tanks. I think they were even waving cars that were behind them out of their lane.
Can any1 fill me in on what this was all about or if any1s seen anything similar before.
Oh and apologies if this is in the wrong forum - wasn't sure where to post
