Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stuff.Hunter's reply is correct. My router was turned off every night also. No settings were lost.

As an aside; once it was turned off for three weeks. When I switched it on, all the settings were at factory default. It was no big deal, I had saved the configuration and security settings to files. Restoration of thse settings only took a few minutes.
    Most routers have this facility.

If the router isn't secured with a password then unplugging at night could be good to make sure no one is stealing bandwidth from you, or just to save on electricity..
