    Searched for one of those (actually, just the ordinary cast iron skillet variety) for weeks. Finally found one in TK Maxx. Stock and Kitchen Compliments and Brown Thomas will have something similar from le cruset (and enamelled to boot), but that'll be a bloody expensive meal you'll be cooking (upwards of €150 for the pan even at a good price). Something like a Lodge pan from TK Maxx will set you back about €10-20 if you can find it.

    thanks a mil Sparks for the heads up - never thought of TK Maxx! Must check 'em out tomorrow evening - my next thoughts were Stock and Kitchen Compliments but they do tend to lean towards the more expensive stuff - I'll save the Le Cruset for when/if the recession ends :)
