Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im using Jdownloader, and its pretty good. Very easy to use IMO.
Works with all major hosting sites and even unrar's files for you!

    +1 for jD
you just copy the links off file-hosting sites, and it does the rest for you, though some sites need you to input captcha.
doesn't handle regular http links too good imo. better DM to use is DownThemAll extension for firefox. allows multiple connections to a file, d/ling it faster.
you can pause the downloads (if the site allows it) and just have one click save to a specified location. really good for batch http downloads. if a file already exists, you can set it to not overwrite it.

there's also Internet Download Manager, but that's a trial only version that's available. you have to pay after 30 days iirc

I also like FlashGet. Easy to use and fast as hell, even supports torrent downloading

    +1 JDownloader with Flashget (Firefox).

Right click link and select flashget and it will automatically add it to the jdownloader queue.

I use Internet Download Manager - the downside is you have to one off pay for it.
I've tried many others beforehand and found IDM the best though.

    +1 on JDownloader..

One issue i am having is that when i select them, i have to go into the 'LinkGrabber' tab and then select.. 'continue with all'.

I would like this to automatically start that way i can leave a few links going without having to stay near the laptop.. any ideas?

Flashget for me aslo, never any problems, you can stop / start if you need to go out before the download is finoshed.
