    Hi Ash,

Can you tell me have you any decent Ipod dock clock radios available at the moment? looking for something that has a fairly decent sound quality, and the cheaper the better really!

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    Kevin,

apologies for the delay getting back to you :o

Where do we start? There are loads of them around now and to be fair on the Poddy/Clock radio front Philips are really excellent.

Here are a few to mull over:

    Philips DC190 - €62.99 http://philipsshop.ie/Spec%20Sheets/dc190_05_pss_eng.pdf

Philips DS1100 €62.99 http://philipsshop.ie/Spec%20Sheets/ds1100_05_pss_eng.pdf This one is a really nice unit especially suitable for bedroom or kitchen - looks slick!

Philips DC3000 - just out and looks and sounds great €89.95

    Philips AJ300 - a classic including remote & and still available at €69.99 http://philipsshop.ie/Spec%20Sheets/aj300d_05_pss_eng.pdf

You can see a variety of these at http://philipsshop.ie/idockpage.htm

You might also have a look at the excellent TEAC SR LUXi which is a great dock including a wake up light! €109.99 http://www.teac.co.uk/products/ipod-docking-SR-LUXi.php

Keep me posted if any of these are interesting or if we can reserve anything for you.

    Nicola on behalf of Ash:

    Hey Kevin,

Have a look at the AJ300D. Its a Dual alarm clock iDock with FM radio and has a nice little kick in the sound.

Its retailing for €79.99 so with your Philips Shop Boards 10% Discount that comes to €71.99.

Have a look here and see if this matches what your after, http://www.philipsshop.ie/idockpage.htm

    Thanks a mil, Nicola.

thanks for the replies john and nicola,

i'll think over the many options over the weekend and get back to you early next week. have to say though the AJ300 does seem the best 'sound-wise', pity it doesn't look as slick as the rest, but we can't have it all i suppose! :D

    cheers,

    kevin

Sorry for the thread hijack. :D

I would be interested in getting the DS3000. Do you have them in stock at the moment?

Ordered the dock on Friday and arrived this morning. Great service from John and Nicola.

Was surprised how neat and tidy the DS3000 actually is. Perfect for listening to radio on wifi.

    Cheers lads.
