Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What do typists charge?

Looking for a bit of advice here, I'm doing some typing work for someone i know, there's quite a bit of typing but I don't know what to charge her. What would the typical typists rate be, like do they charge per word/page etc? I want to make sure I am not overcharging her or that i'm undercutting myself. thanks.

Why not charge by the hour? €10.00 - €15.00.

depends on how fast you type obviously: for 10-15 per hour you would want to have 60+ wpm i'd say.
15 an hour would be pretty generous for it these days i'd say

Generally typists charge by the page for straight text and more for fiddly bits. Last time I heard of anyone charging for typing it was €2 a page for straight text, that was a couple of years ago though.
