Ready to party your way to an early grave this Halloween?

On Friday the 29th of October, three of Dublin's promoters are coming together to bring a serious slice of subterranean music to the Twisted Pepper. We've got quality Techno, D'n'B and Wonky Rave Breaks across the three rooms, all coming from enough proven talent to give a healthy man a stroke.

There's a Zombie / Living Dead theme on the night so make sure to get your fancy dress on and you might win some spot prizes. Remember though, getting so mangled that you look like a walking corpse DOESN'T count! (Although we certainly won't hold it against you!).

    Basement: Teknowarfare

    D.A.V.E. THE DRUMMER - Hydraulix - http://soundcloud.com/dave-the-drummer
    FRAN HARTNETT - Mantrap - http://soundcloud.com/fran-hartnett
    DEREK F. - d:fuse
    KEYLOCKED - Teknowarfare

Long time electronic ruffians Teknowarfare have none other than the legendary D.A.V.E. the Drummer headlining things in the basement. Not much needs to be said about this guy, he's been releasing techno and acid records for about 14 years on labels like "Stay Up Forever" and his own "Hydraulix" imprint, to name but a few, and he's played all over the world, multiple times by now, so it's guaranteed he'll tear it up on the night. As if that wasn't good enough, preceding Dave is local techno hero, Fran Hartnett. Well known for his amazing hardware sets that usually consist of just one drum machine and one synth, Fran's productions set him apart from the rest, one of his tracks features in the recent Surgeon Fabric mix! If you haven't already, make sure and check him out! Support comes from Derek F, the head honcho of what was Dublin's longest running techno night, d:fuse, and from Teknowarfare's own Keylocked.

    Ground Floor: Subatomic Hustle

MUSTARD GUNN vs ONKEN - Coin Operated - http://www.myspace.com/coinoperatedrecords
THE SQUIRE OF GOTHOS - Coin Operated - http://www.myspace.com/thesquireofgothos
    3D!T - Coin Operated - http://www.myspace.com/3dit

Newcomers Subatomic Hustle get on the good foot with a Coin Operated blowout! Headlining is the label boss himself, Mustard Gunn, playing with/against barmy 8-bit battlescaper Onken. These two really know how to rock a party and together they are connoisseurs of the finest wonk in town, nuff said! As for The Squire of Gothos, they're two badbwoy producers from Sheffield whose music is a cross between speed garage, dubstep, electro house, grime and old school hardcore. Take this advice from their myspace page: replace your neon clothing with some medieval style gear and dance around like some kind of gabba nazi! Bringing up the rear is 3D!T, who according to his own words, was a little 80's boy running around like a mentalist, fell down the stairs, hit his head on the radiator and has never been the same since. He makes breaky, glitchy, sketchy wobble-tracks and gets them released on
labels like Shed records, Bernard's Haircut and of course, Coin Operated!

    Mezz: Tribe

    EXECUTIVE STEVE - Ancient Ways
    BONZ - Ancient Ways
    MECCA - Subtle Audio

Meanwhile, up in the Mezz we'll be handing the reins over to none other than everyone's favourite Dublin Drum & Bass militants from Tribe and the Ancient Ways collective. Kicking the night off in the haunted garret anyway we have a long overdue appearance from hotly-tipped Irish up-and-comer Mecca whose imminent releases on much-loved Limerick imprint Subtle Audio are set to take the world by storm. The bassline on one of his tunes set off more car alarms than any other tune played all weekend when Code played it at the Bump festival in August, so believe me I say this guy has the chops to do some serious damage up in here! Next up is none other than the Ginger Ninja himself, DJ Bonz showing us just exactly why he's widely considered one of the best Drum & Bass DJ's in the city before Executive Steve takes over and batters you all senseless with a suitably ghoulish selection of armour plated rave madness to fit the occasion. This will be the bearded superhero's final appearance in Dublin (well, in Europe full stop) for quite some time as he's going off on a wee bit of a wander, so pop down and buy him a drink or two for good luck.

Admission: E12 - For Fancy dress and before 12, E15 after 12 or without fancy dress.
