    I have a north facing teak front door. It was painted with a laquer stain about 3 years ago and needs a touch up. Should I go the same again?

    why not.

    trick is to prepare the old surface properly so the new coat will adhere better.

    i wouldnt use lacquer outside,its not for exterior use.id recommend sadolins or bondex.
