Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Proof that football matches can be physical without knee-high studs-up tackles.

    Take note pundits and journos.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,169 ✭✭✭JohnnyRyan99

So Yaya can actually play ball! Who knew!

Edit: Also i think it deserves to be said Kompany is proving himself to be one of the best centre backs in the league IMO. Nails!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Kompany is a superb defender. Still only 24 and cost feck all in today's terms.

Himself and Toure are looking the dog's at the moment.

both are quality, and Toure can play a bit of ball when he has too, one of the best partnerships in teh league in fairness.

Contender for MOTM imho. Chelsea haven't had a sniff, yet.

what pisses me of most about this is city have easily the ability to beat united, but they again will concede 6 points to them this season.

So all this is a big favour to united.

I wouldn't go over the top, Barry and de Jong play a big part in it.

Alex Ferguson does it again! After all these years, people still don't understand that he says bizarre things to deflect attention away from his players and then went on to win the league. But let's not turn this into a Man Utd vs Liverpool debate.

I didnt think much of him in the world cup, but he looked good for Chelsea before today.

Responding like that will just fill up the thread with pointless arguments and comments I think. Every manager/player makes really stupid comments now and again!

I'd say 90% of his passes didnt go to the intended target today, and his lack of conrtol gave city the ball to score their goal
