Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    "Yes."

    I like it.

The lighting is very good, composition too and like the way the rock "fades out" (good depth of field). The reflection is well-executed and adds a lot to the image. Whereas, technically, this is a very good shot, I don't find it particularly "interesting".

That said, as an exercise, it is executed brilliantly and will make you more competent for future shots. You should have a go at product photography which uses the same basis as the techniques you used for the rock.

So, YES, it definitely is good still-life, I'd even say "A very good one"!

Technically - well done. The composition is not very engaging though. Is it better than anything I have done myself? Absolutely!
