Just back from tesco dundrum what a waste of time, spoke to a staff member and I was told that the night staff haven't the authority to sell fifa until 6 or 8 a.m

So im off to bed now wake up bright and early and get my copy of Fifa 11

They are the only ones selling for above E50 and so by saying ''RRP E60'' they're in effect referring to their own price while making the deal look sweeter since it's down E20.

Explains why it was E60 tonight so their deal looks good on paper.

Bit random the change thing. So what time do Tesco change over to their "Sale Price"? Is it just whenever they are arsed or is it a set time? It dosn't have a set time on that paper ad.

Now I could be wrong, but if this is going on sale as such in the morning from €60 to €40, that is illegal as products have to be sold at the non-sale price for 28/30 days. If they plan on keeping it at €40 for the foreseeable future that I think it's ok, someone can correct me but that's my understanding.

Far as I know, that only holds if they advertise in the sense of WAS/NOW.

ie. Was €60/NOW €40 they can't advertise like that....but they can sell it for what they like, a price is only an invitation to buy....there under no legal obligation...

It says that the RRP is €60.

Picked up mine for €60 in Tesco ardkeen in Waterford. More expensive than others but I don't care really, I'm definitely going to get my moneys worth out of it for the next year at least.
