I'd give substantial amount to charity. Euromillions I'd set up some kind of drop in center for the homeless. Not sure a million would get me that but maybe......

    Tonights lotto:
Give money to charity as above, at least 1 million. Buy my mam and dad, mam and dad in law, new houses, give my sister, sisters and brother in law a big chunk towards new houses. And buy myself a nice big house (4 bed detached would do me fine) and a new car. Have a nice long holiday :)

Help all of my friends out with a few bob to take the pressure off.

Look after my mother, sister and maybe my father. Sort out a few close mates.

I wouldn't do anything spectacular with the money except invest most of it, buy a few good cars and houses in 4 different countries and probably a small plane.

There's f_all different between 6 mil and 60 mil in terms of what you'll ever need in life.

600,000 would do me to have me set up for life regardless of what Clown & Co impose on us.

600K is whay you will need as a decent pension by the time you reach retirement age, assuming you are in your 20's now taking inflation and other factors into account.

600,000 thousand is a nice amount of money, yes its alot, but absolutley not "set me up for life" money.

600,000 will on average be worth only 60k in 35 years time, provided you spend only the interest and none of the original sum

It's enough to guarantee a roof over your head for the rest of your life, that'd be enough for some people.

a roof is no good if you cant afford medical care or..food.

Freeganism would take care of your culinary needs (though it's yucky), or you could subsistance farm in the big garden you may get with your €600k house. As for medical care... um... ah, you'd just die in agony over some trivial infection.

Seen a BBC doc a few weeks ago where top chef's were asked to make 5* meals from disgarded food they could find. TBH it was an eye opener what they could do, cant think of the name of the show, but all food sourced had to be taken from skips, bins or food that was not for sale because of a dent in the can or because the carrot looked more like a potato!

    €150,000 will do that!!!!

The other €450,000 is plenty for me to live on for 20 years, and add in some "so that I don't lose my sanity" work, then happy days.

I'll agree that there's a difference between that and 6 mil, but the main part of my post already pointed that out.....I said there was "f_all different between 6 mil and 60 mil in terms of what you'll ever need in life.

So 600,000 = relax and be choosy what you work at.

2,000,000 - 6,000,00 is set up for life with no work.

Anything more = a waste, and 60,000,000 would hopefully be shared between 20 or so people so that lots of people (families) had improved lives.

What would you do If you Won the Lottery?
Depends on the amount of cash, I'd probably buy an iPad if I won a small amount. If it was something like 20.000.000+ I'd be on my way to Barbados or Jamaica by now. I'd buy a nice house there and spend rest of my days surfing, fishing, sailing, diving and searching for pieces of eight.

However, as it won't happen, I have to go and iron my work trousers, so they are ready for tomorrow morning...

I think a holiday of at least a month would be required with maybe a couple of grand spending cash. The winnings would have to be put in a place where they cant be touched for the duration of the holiday so plenty of thought could be given to how it would be spent or invested

That is actually what the National Lottery advises you do when you win the Lotto!
Seems that you are good lotto winning potential!

    I'd buy Messi for Celtic.

Even if you could afford that, why would you want a player like him wasting his career at Celtic?

It's like buying the Mona Lisa and putting it in your toilet.
