Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Compare those guests to who was on the Late Late last night.
I bet it will be a much more entertaining show even with the guests O'Connor has.

    Time will tell.

Was just thinking the same, Mike... O'Connor wont be pulling the punches with either of them, like Tubridy would.. Can wait to see what questions he puts to Royston and Gazza... Bet he asks Gazza about "his maaate Mooooateeeeey", and the fishing trip that never happened..

Thats what politicians do! Didn't he tell a few fibbs about his Da's taxi been used in the Dublin bombings?!

I Still can't believe the size of that Bray woman's massive breasts. :pac: and Brendan actually saying it to her! Tubirdy would of stuttered his way around those bad boys.

I'm telling ye people, with a bit of work on the personality side, Brendan O'Connor could be a great interviewer... he's got a natural genuine warmth towards guests, direct in his questioning, and an acerbic wit ....

Royston Brady was telling the truth about his father's taxi being used in the Dublin Bombings. He was vindicated by an Irish Times article.

I remember that controversy, he was shown to be correct. I guess it just sounded like a perfect piece of FF fantasy to catch the medias eye.

Love brendan , if has a natural wit and obviously doesn't take himself too seriously, he asks the questions other numpty's are too pc to ask. Warming to him big time.

Have to laugh at the O Connor love in going on here. The man is an odious slimeball with the interviewing qualities of an awkward student. The only 'skill' he possesses is concocting the finest quiff this side of the fifties.

I wonder what Brendan O'Connor would have made of Diarmuid Gavin!

+1 the fawning interview with Royston Brady made anything Tubridy ever did with FF (cowen/o'dea etc) look like Frost/Nixon.

The big guns were great though ;)

Not the greatest OConnor fan but I do agree that his interview skills are far superior to Tub's.

One gripe...STOP doing the stand up at the start, you never have nor will you ever be able to pull it off.

I dont think he was fawning over him.. I think he just let Royston mouth on, and let people see him for what he is.. God to think that man was mayor... He doesnt strike me as being any way intelligent at all...
