The name of the business is clearly displayed. Surely posters who think this is bad form could phone the company and complain, rather than posting here to?

Why just for parking? Surely they'd make you more aero on the move too?!
There are far more beneficial things I could do to make myself more aero

There's a single locking rail close to the top of Wexford street with a restaurant who lock a vintage bike with advertising to it. It's annoying as there's only rail for two bikes and they use up one. I end up just locking my bike to theirs when I need to.

You did. Others didn't. I didn't realise the bike was still there though.

I'd say this would be covered under planning regulations. After this time it would be a permanent structure and would need planning permission.

Unless, of course, the proprietor or a staffer hops on at night and cycles it home?

Or they could simply unlock it, move it a a few cms and relock it thereby avoiding the permanent structure label (just like the lads with the mobile signs around the Grafton Street area).

There is a similar problem with cars used as advertisments. Apparently, once the car is taxed, insured and NCT'd, there is nothing the Gardai or councils can do about them.
