Playground Clarehall area

Hi all. I was wondering does anyone know anything about a large playground in the clarehall area. Have heard it's supposed to be brilliant. If anyone has been there, please reply with directions. Thanks

Would it be the 2 playgrounds in Fr. Collins Park, Donaghmede? They are great, just to the left as you turn into Clongriffin (at Trinity swimming pool).
Otherwise there are 2 small playgrounds in belmayne estate, but ones in Fr. Collins Pk are recommended!

Have to agree about the Fr. Collins Park playgrounds - something for all ages. I do find the water, with no railings around, a bit off-putting though...Has anyone else found that to be the case?

My son is 8, so is old enough but I had a toddler with me the last time I went there and I was terrified to let go of his hand.

The playgrounds have railings around them however sorry - it's just other parts of the park.

Malahide castle playground has to be the best one on this side of the city though..but there are a few others that come a pretty close second:)

Malahide Castle playground is great if you fancy going a little bit further. And Ardgillen Castle playground further away again is also good. Otherwise I haven't been to the Fr Collins one, where exactly in Donaghmede is it? Not familiar with that area but I look after a little boy and it'd be great to bring him somewhere new locally.

If you turn right from the kilbarrack road, onto the donaghmede road (at the junction where the firestation is)...keep going straight..you'll pass by donaghmede shopping centre and you can't miss fr collins park...it has those huge white windmills in it (also on the right) about 1 minute drive past the shopping centre...

meant to say, also, the playground in newbridge house in Donabate is also great have a small coffee shop there, lots of park and farm too. my favourite on the northside.
