Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Landcruisers are the way to go if you can keep feeding them diesel. The dmax is a good jeep too and easier on fuel but not as comfortable.

You're saying 6K? I'd say that would get you a 99-00, not 03-04. No problem if it was looked after, they go forever, bulletproof!

That on has high mileage I know but in relatively good nick and you could buy nearly 3 of them for the money. Good buy.

I've been looking for similar for the past few weeks and in my searching I can tell you that Landcruisers ('03-'04) are very few and far between for a 6k budget.

I know they're good jeeps, have driven a good few in the past, but can't help feeling that they're wildly overpriced secondhand so have been looking at '00-'03 Pajero's instead and there's a lot more to choose from.

Landcrusier is the way to go i have a 00 and never had any problems with it. it goes off road every day pull horses and other stuff not a problem has 170k miles on the clock and it driving just fine they are a really good 4x4 couldn't recommend them enough and i have driven a few 4x4's .

+1 to above. There is no 4x4 in my opinion as comfortable as the landcruiser. The pajeros are very giddy on the road.
