Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bike carrier for my camper?

I need a carrier that can carry two bikes.
The problem is that I do not have a purpose built camper and there are no rear doors so I think I need some sort of custom job done.

See attached image to see what I mean. The bikes could sit on top of the boot but I need something to secure them.

    Any ideas?

Why not just fit an ordinary bike rack to the back , over the Audi Ass?

Do you mean attach one permanently over the boot or do you mean a temporary car one to the boot?
I do have one for a car... I wonder would it actually fit?
I was looking for a more permanent solution though.

A permanent one , over the boot.

Ah ok. Could you give me an example of one that is likely to work?

bolts to the back wall , and the bit the wheels sit on folds up if you need to open the boot.

    Nice one thanks Aidan.

I was going to drive it to the shops to air it out and recharge the battery but too late, my van battery is dead

Oh the joys of a camper.
