Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have to say, Elmander has owned Vidic all day. Very poor performance from the Utd center back.

The game is dead now. This suits Bolton, play for free's, I'm anticipating a lot of big players falling down rather easily until the final whistle.:(

They're going to ground very easily, breaking the game up.
    Frustrating stuff.

    We've been awful today.
Missed the chance to make up ground.
Only for Elmander not being bale to finish we'd have been embarrassed.

Considering the way United have been playing I can safely say this is awful dropped points, awful performance and the defence has looked shocking this season . .

Wont win anything playing like that . .

A draw is probably all we deserve today. At least it closes the gap on Chelsea.

    Load of W*nk by United . .

Nobody else to blame but themselves . . Barely deserved a draw they were that porous in defence . .

From now on keep nani away from all corners and free kicks. His delivery has been dreadful today.
Aside from his goal which he took well he' hasn't produced anything when we really needed it. We're missing Valencia in a big way.

it's weird saying this, Chelsea are the winners this weekend.

if Utd don't sort the defending out, they can forget about getting close to Chelsea in the long haul.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Utds problem isn't in attack, its at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Very disappointing, shocking defending, but trying to put a positive spin on it, we've gained a point over Chelsea and Arsenal. Considering how we are playing I'll make do with that.

3 points off Chelsea after the run of fixtures for the two teams is pretty decent from a United point of view.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,305 ✭✭✭DOC09UNAM

United are the only top 4 team to make points this week, not bad overall, could have lost to bolton tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 366 ✭✭Zeppi

Who believes that the English premiership players don't bet on their own games he is out of his mind... all three top teams drop points on the same weekend again!, what a coincidence....
    another **** display ..... ...

Zeppi LOL. Speaking out of your pocket? Always back the goal line not the team

didn't he have the assist for owens goal?

He did set up Owen's goal but that free kick did drop short. Owen, the shortest in the box and positioned as the first man, should hardly be the target from a set piece!
His dead ball deliveries dropped short every time. That technique he has is too inconsistent.

I know, but our corners and free's were generally poor and Nani was the man taking them.
I think had he been delivring decent balls we would have won, such is the standard at United.

He did set up Owen's goal, but we had more than 10 corners. Did any of them clear the near post? His dead ball deliveries are, more often than not, dreadful.

    Fucking infuriatingly frustrating player.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,838 ✭✭✭✭3hn2givr7mx1sc

    Ref was shít.
    Defence was shít.
Nani is unbelievably frustrating, scoring a great goal then acting the bollix for the rest of the game, if he could get some consistency he'd be a great player. Also, he's shít at set-pieces.

Ah well, a point gained rather than a point lost I suppose in the grand scheme of things.

Also, Robinson for Bolton is a fúcking disgrace. He's an absolute scumbag and when Nani had a high boot which went no where near him he complained that he was kicked in the face. Idiot.

    EDIT: Park was also shít.
