Fluffy is a lion head (4 years old)& is moulting at the moment. This time he is regularly biting & pulling his fur out himself.Sometimes he seems quite agitated. Over the years I have never seen him do this before. Is it normal?

Are you sure "he" is a he? If "he" is a she then it could be in heat or phantom pregnancy/ nesting ? . I know cats do it when stressed.
