Porch lights not working

    Today I tried fixing my two front porch lights that have not been working for about 1 year now. When I turned on the switch one of the lights works for about half a second and then cuts out. If I then turn off and on the light again I see nothing lighting at all.

    Today I decided to buy new front lights as the old pair were of pretty bad design. However I have the same issue with the new lights. Nothing gets tripped at the fuse board and other lights on the same circuit also work. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

    Loose wire in switch maybe try that?
