Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello All,

Please help, is it possible to buy 1 machine which will print, scan and copy documents? This will only be required for use at home.

I also would like a machine that will enable to get me a reasonably ecomical with the printer cartridges

If so, how much would I expect to pay for this?

    Thanks,

Yes, it's possible. Shop around and you'll probably find one for under €100. Search amazon for 'all in one printer' and you'll get some ideas.

I would recommend a Brother printer as the availability of refill cartridges is almost instant after the release of the printer while other brands it takes a long time for them to become available. WHile it might sound attractive I would not recommend spending anything less than €150 on an AIO as the cheaper ones claw back the savings in cartridges prices.

    Hi There,
The only printers I would recommend at the moment are the Brother printers. The amount of ink you get for every euro spent is far more cost effective than pretty much every other inkjet printer available at the moment (especially on the home user end)
I would recommend the DCP 195c, approx €85 from Power City and comes with full set of originals ( unlike alot of new printers that only come with starter pack). I personally have sold quite a number of these printers to business customers with no complaints.
As stated compatible cartridges are widely available, I would recommend site www.BigBrotherCartridges.ie , to buy the compatible cartridges. There are cheaper cartridges available on other sites but the cartridges on this site contain 3 times the ink compared to most compatibles and quality is excellent.
    Hope this helps
