This is a game that we simply have to win against probably the weakest team in our group. We need to try get a few goals in this one too and hope the other game finishes in a draw. I think that we will have Gomes back for this one. I think Corluka could be on the bench for this game. I see the lineout like this.

    Gomes
    Hutton--Gallas--King--Bae
    Lennon--Hudd--Luka--Bale
    VDV--Crouch

Gonna try here early. Is anywhere in Cork City showing the match on a decent screen and have the sound on? Evergreen is a trek and getting the sh*tty TV in Counihans, having to listen to the Man Utd game can't be the best on offer?

lots of injuries so it could be

    ----cudicini

    hutton - corluka - king --- ekotto

    jenas - hudd -- modric - bale

    ----vdv
    ---- crouch

lennon should be dropped for a while as should hudd as yiddo suggested.

Would prefer to see Gio on the right ahead of JJ myself despite the Arsenal game.

Has he been given a chance apart from the league cup 45 mins ? I'm not a fan of playing left footed players on the right and vice-versa, but he must be due a run in the team looking at Lennons form.

He has come on and made fleeting appearences, but I mean a proper run in the team.

According to 'The Sun', Harry will go all out attack because we have no fit defenders.

... hope he doesn't do an Ossie Ardiles on us!Or we might end up with something like this

    cudicini

    ----hutton - corluka

    Jenas --- Hudd---- Bale--

    Lennon----VDV
    Modric

    keane--Crouch

Says nothing about King in the physio room so I presume he's alright? Would like to see two strikers this match with two wingers. Cant see either VdV or Modric being dropped tho so I'll go with this line-up...:D

    Cudicini
    Hutton --- King --- Bassong --- BAE
    Lennon --- Modric --- V d V --- Bale
    Crouch --- Keane

Looks like Corluka and Bassong in the middle again, it really is a case of attack being best form of defence.

Harry Redknapp will make late a decision on the fitness of Ledley King ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League match against FC Twente.

The skipper and central defender missed Saturday's loss at West Ham after picking up a slight groin problem in training on Friday.

"We're not sure on Ledley but I'll say he's probably doubtful," reported Harry at this afternoon's press conference.

"If he's fit, he'll play, but I'm not sure if he will be fit.

"Charlie (Vedran Corluka) will play at centre-back again if Ledley's not right. I can't see too many changes at the back."

Harry had bad news to report though as Younes Kaboul tweaked his hamstring in training on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the manager said he will make a late decision in goal with Heurelho Gomes fit and training again after picking up a groin injury in the first half against Wigan on August 28.

However, Carlo Cudicini has been in fine form and produced a number of top-class saves at West Ham.

"Carlo has played very well and I'll make that decision tomorrow," added Harry.

Michael Dawson (ankle/knee), Jermain Defoe (ankle) and William Gallas (groin) remain out.
