Definitely seeing far too many sf votes go to FF for my liking.

    You're taking note yeah? Percentages?

RTEwaterford: #wd Tallies show FF vote is down 32.5 per cent to 14 per cent from 46.5 per cent in 2007. Independents are up 13.3 per cent. #ge11

Currently 5:1 in Halligans favour compared Niall. Still don't like seeing them transfer that way!

Anyone expecting a count soon, can tell you that it'll be close to tea before first

    From Twitter

    @RTEwaterford
    RTEwaterford
#Wd we're being told that the final tally looks to be out by about 2 thousand votes. #ge11. Not known whether they were city or county votes

Anyone know what this is about or who it will impact

A lot of them would be spoilt votes. Don't think it will have too much of a difference.

You're wrong. Work out percentage turn outs and the amount of votes cast in the city that were tallied would suggest the 2000 not tallied were in county which will benefit FG, FF, LAB, and SF to a lessor extent. No votes in county for Halligan.

2K (or anything even near to it) spoiled votes would be a massive amount

Back of envelope calculations would suggest you're right, although spoiled votes not included there. Hopefully this will give deasy his quota and get Coffey close too.

That's not disastrous, ryans elimination should be good for John. Not at count centre at the moment but heading back now.

Is there a way of finding out what way the results in each box went, by number of votes for each canditate and not by percentage if possible.

    Thanks.
Would love to see them before if anyone had them. Would be interesting to see where canditates had there support and where they lacked it.

In the count centre here.. Count staff heading off for a break. Could be a dinner break, could be a count result. Who knows!

RTE's coverage is pathetic...concentrating on Dublin no place else getting much of a look in

Only 10 counters at their seats at the moment. At least 90 mins away from count I'd say.

I'd like to add that Sully has supplied no information on this thread that he's mod on. This thread is giving most info on Waterford nationally. Sully's candidate knows he's elected but sully won't post any updates. My view is he has been shunning this thread for the "upper echelons" in the count centre. Sound Sully, you've been most informative....

Liz Reddy said as much on the news just now.

Heres Hopping Brendan Kennally gets the third seat-consistenly been Waterfords hardest working politician. Missing Tally might mean he is at 15%. In the long run waterford people will be worse off with out a FF deputy.

Would have to agree with you. Im not too concerned about ff nationality. They are getting their deserved medicine but Brendan for me has been one of the hardest working td s and I would hate for him to lose out because of the front benchers mistakes. People talk about his expenses but what they dont talk about is the fact that he employs 2 people with his expenses. One in Waterford city and one for the county. He is a man of his word and anything Ive ever asked him to do or my family/friends he has consistently delivered way and beyond.

No have been following this all day and the anti Kennally postings have been ill considered. FF has delivered the second bridge, 90 minute motorway to Dublin, Brendan retained the 24 hour rescue service out of waterford airport not to mention the various school building thats started and about to be strated. People should remember these things. Please tell me what has Deast, Coffey, Conway, Ryan, Halligan, cullinane done for the area?

Waterford people are worse off alright, by about €73,000 in expense claims made by that particular 'hard working' politician.

All delivered by Cullen and not Keneally.

    What about the University?

He is the most silent TD Waterford has ever sent to the Dail. He is meant to represent the whole constituency and not just the few people who he helped get medical cads, passports etc.
