    I wouldn't be so sure. Halligan will pick up a lot of Cullinane's transfers.
    He still has a chance.

    But Cullinane has to be eliminated for that to happen, TV3 were saying that he's get the seat

    Looks like I was wrong Halligan has just over taken Ciara Conway after Joe Tobins transfers

    Go on John!!!!! Hope to God himself and Conway secure the 2seats. Collerys transfers will let us know more

    Halligan gone ahead of Conway

    So, just Collery, Higgins and Ryan left to be eliminated before we know whether Halligan, Cullinane or Kenneally will get their transfer votes....

    I'm hoping this is a good sign that either Halligan or Cullinane will overtake Kenneally in the final stretch....

    Given that Hannigan is so City biased him winning would be quite a victory and would immediately put him on the back foot to retain said seat next time.

    Labour = tits

    I asked this before but...
    Anybody at the count see from the tallies how the transfers of Ryan's votes are likely go, are they going to the other Labour candidate (Conway) or are they going to other City based Left wing candidates (Halligan & Cullinane)?

  • Moderators, Regional South East Moderators Posts: 9,041 Mod ✭✭✭✭Aquos76

    Miriam cut to Waterford about 1.30ish this afternoon, for a whole 30 seconds.

    She was distracted, though...too busy talking to some fella in the studio when they cut back to her. That was the only mention of Waterford I saw all day.

    He's reporting from the Wexford constituency as far as I know.

    He was assigned to the Wexford Count centre, I think we got Helen Mcinerney down here

    Coffey not being elected yet will hurt Conway who would have got a lot of preferences from Higgins. This is real nailbaiting stuff!!
