Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Remember the dotted book you were asked to look at in school for the medical and you had to find the numbers? I remember getting to page 2 and not seeing anything but dots, and then i remember the nurse shouting at me asking me to try harder to see them

Anyhow, according to this test i still am pretty shyte when it comes to colours, i only got 33% :o

I don't think it's colour blindness you need to worry about...maybe should get them eyes tested tho :P

Me I got 6/6...though I do tend to have quite a few arguments with people over wether things are blue or purple, and blue and green for some reason, now I can tell them well I got 6/6 on the internets and walk away smugly!

There are different types. Some people have trouble seeing one of red, green or blue

Others can't see 2 of them and some can't see all of them so just view the world in black or white. If you've ever messed around with basic phot-editing software you can reduce the levels for one of the primary colours to see what it looks like being colour blind.

If i were not colourblind, at least the possibility that i would be the 4th generation of train driver in my family would be at least a possibility, however, id fail a standard medical for it.. for obvious reasons.

The traffic lights on a road and on a train are similar but different, when in a car you can see the lights and when your close, you can see the amber is brighter, and also the position on the light grid makes it obvious, however when you drive a train, you need to see the light from sometimes well over a mile away and at that point its only a dot and hard to see in perspective

I never understood why train drivers are referred to as drivers. Surely all they are, is glorified button presses & lever operators?

    Pretty interesting site...
    # Emerson Moser, who was Crayola's senior crayon maker revealed upon his retirement that he was blue-green colorblind and could not see all the colors!
    # Most colorblind people get tired of the "What color is this" questions from their peers by age 13.

Nope, just made light of something many would consider an imperfection, though it doesn't bother me personally, I like to keep people grounded and Alwaysadub was getting a big head! :D
