Problem sending emails with magnet

    Hello,

    I'm wondering if someone can help me with this.

    I cant send emails using my work email server from home.
    I can receive emails from the mail server using POP but cant send any.

    I tried using the SSL and TLS connection but no difference.
    Do magnet block SMTP traffic?

    Port 25 is blocked to stop spam, but they said they can remove them on request (this was a while back though).

    I am on Magnet and using their smtp server smtp.magnet.ie and it's working ok.
    What error message are you getting?

    Didn't get a chance to ring magnet this morning

    Can you open the port for me or do I have to ring
    customer service?
