Just caught the end of the consumer show on RTE and heard Eddie Hobbs claim that 2semi detatched houses in the Dublin Commuter belt were reduced from over 200,000 to 99,000. Anyone have any idea where these might be??

There is no way I'd consider Mullingar a commutable distance for Dublin but many do it.

I remember a story on Mullingar
    http://www.munster-express.ie/business/money-times/mullingar-apartment-sale-could-be-a-turning-point/
On the edge of Mullingar, a smart looking development of one, two and three bed apartments priced at €69,950, at €82,400 and €98,000 were sold off to people who queued for hours for a chance to be the first viewers and to snap up the unit of their choice.

    So maybe same area

Hopefully the poor sods didn't get involved in his Brendan Investments fund (of which he was non-executive director) either....
