    So, there I was on the North Strand road, waiting patiently at the traffic lights for the little green man, and next thing, WHACK!

    Nearly dizzy and concussed I screamed out 'What the **** was that'? No giggles, no reply, nothing.

    A giant conker encased in its spiky casing had decided upon that moment to descend from the tree above me at rapid speed and hit me on the side of the head and nearly knock me out. Sticky resin still in my hair.

    Bloody hell, that's the Northside for you:D
