Was anyone else at this on Sunday? It was Nico Muhly, Ben Frost, Sam Amidon and Valgeir Sigursson. Great stuff altogether. All four acts performed together as a group, playing a few tracks from each artist's back catalogue. Nice mix of Nico's orchestral stuff and Ben's harsh noise, with some folk and electronica thrown in.
    Very poorly attended though. :(

Not many did. I didn't see any promotion at all for this, and the only press I saw was an interview with Ben Frost in State magazine. I reckon there were 200 people there at the most, which was a real shame.

It was a great show...sound quality was fab in the main Hall the Sound Crew did a great job mixing the wide range of sound sources. The program of music had the perfect flow from Light to Dark and back . Ben even brought his "Wolves" along ..a girl beside me had to put her fingers in her ears:D

Nico's musical arrangement's are very good ...and he is a crazy fun guy !

I say most of the promotion budget was spent pre Icelandic Volcano thus the low turn out for the rescheduled concert which was a shame.

Ps .I would love to know what the hell they put into the water in Iceland, they produce some amazing artists for such a small population.
