Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm looking for a source of black and white 35mm fuji film for my son's portfolio preparation course. Preferably in Dundrum area. Thanks for any suggestions.

Fuji's B&W is nice film. (Neopan?) I really prefer Ilford films for most things myself. Pan-F 50 is oh so sweet! =D

i don't use neopan much myself, cos gunns use rodinal which gives very contrasty results with it.

Be careful buying film, a lot of the smaller shops don't sell much of it and it may have been lying on the shelves for years. It may still be in date but could still have been damaged with strong shop lighting and heating. John Gunn in Aungier St always has fresh stock of film and the Luas will leave you close to his shop. Fuji Acros 100 will be good for landscape still life work and Neopan 400 will suit documentary street photography. Ilford films are equally as good.

Thanks for the replies so far.
I'm looking for Fuji because it is being used in a college course, and they were specific about what they wanted to be used. The Fuji centre in Dundrum didn't have it (?) but they knew what it was called. They suggested Boots, which I tried. I got some Kodak B&W there, it may do at a pinch, but would prefer to get Fuji if at all possible. I don't particularly want to go trailing into town if it can be avoided.

You should be able to order Neopan from the 7dayshop if you are stuck but it's probably best to go into Gunns in Wexford St to get some there.
