Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So anyone using this program knows that there is an option to record. I want to be able to record what sound is coming out of the speakers. I have the recording source set to the sound card I'm using and I also have that soundcard/Line-in set as the default device under the control panel settings however, when I play anything, there is no indication of sound coming out on the Left and Right sound level bars. I'm running windows 7 and the 5.26.02 is the version of Creative Media source I'm using.

    Any help, much appreciated.

Line-In is just for external sound sources like a guitar or mp3 player. See if you have an option to set it to "What you hear". That should record any and all sound that is coming out through your speakers.

Yeah on my old computer I had a 'What you hear' option but on the new one I don't, any idea on how to get it back?

I actually don't to be honest. :o I couldn't get the Creative drivers to work properly with Windows 7 so I used the unofficial ones a Creative Forums member had uploaded. This had the unfortunate side-effect of disabling the "What you hear".
The only thing I can think of is to connect a lead from the headphone out to the line-in.
