Raising a PVC door a few millimetres?

Lads, I need a few more mm clearance under my front door as its catching the floor. I want to leave the frame etc. as is. I had a look at how the door fits into the frame and there is scope for 2 or 3 mm up. But the hinges look quite fixed and permanent. Anypne ever done this? Thanks in advance. John

I did this recently, got new carpet and underlay and the door was catching on it. I was able to put a spacer in the hindge that lifted the door a few mm to give enough clearance
