I just bought a PC from HWVS and after a friend of mine installed Windows 7 the PC won't boot. Now he says that the PSU might not be powerful enough or the the RAM could be incompatible.

    Here's the system...

    4GB-Kit OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 Gold Low Voltage
    Corsair CX400W 400 Watt
    Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3, Intel P55, ATX, DDR3, PCI-Express
    Intel Core i5-760 Box 8192Kb, LGA1156
    Sapphire HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express
Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB, SATA II

Now HWVS never said there was a compatibility issue with the RAM so could it be the PSU? But I thought I read on a thread here before that the 400W was powerful enough because it was a good make?

    Any Ideas?

Win7 is on it? Is the machine reaching POST but failing to load Windows?

Try disconnecting the HDD and DVD drive from the power supply and then try booting it. If it works its most likely the PSU!
