Good night alright, nice to see such a decent turnout. Thinking about it in the harsh daylight it was actually a pretty **** film but was a good laugh. the roundabout discussion after was a highlight of the club so far :)

Yeah I agree with all of that. It seemed better than it was while you were watching it because it had the makings of a good fllm but the conclusion was very underwhelming, making any good work done previously irrelevant. The discussion afterwards was good craic! And it turned into a mini Beers with us staying there until 12.

We've already been to see hanna but I know it's Jamie beamish and I must say he realy really didnt look like himself at all. His eyes were kind of sunken in his face and he looked so different. When I saw him again and realised it was him I was surprised!

We seriously are looking for more to come I mean last week we had the biggest crowd yet and it meant we spent longer together and had a real great discussion about the film so hope to see you!

So sometime next week for The Hangover 2?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,081 ✭✭✭ziedth

I'd be on for that, we'll have to arrive early for it though as I'd imagine it'll be jammed.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭MitchKoobski

Don't think thats out til at least the 26th. Listings for it aren't even out yet.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,081 ✭✭✭ziedth

I assume Stig might mean next Thursday/Friday. Would it be out then? Like ya said no point planning anything till we get the listings anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭MitchKoobski

Friday 27th at the earliest is my guess.

The Hangover Part 2 is being released This Thursday 26th May. The first show is at 00.05am and its on a few times after that staring at 11.10

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭MitchKoobski

Or another way of putting it, it's on midnight Weednesday, and starts at 11 onwards Thursday.

Nearly gave me a heart attack there when I read it lol

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,975 ✭✭✭nkay1985

I've no problem going this week or next week. I'd imagine it'll be fairly popular on its release but maybe Thursday wouldn't be too mental? Would just have to arrive earlier than our customary five minutes late!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,588 ✭✭✭STIG83

Cant wait for this, I watched the 1st one last night again, hopefully it will live up to the 1st one but i dunno though.
Im sure Alan the crazy brother in law will have good lines again!! :D

Saw it last night. Good movie but not as good as the first one. Few good laughs in it, Alan and Stu were brillent in it. There was about 120-150 people watching it last night and thats a very good attendence for a midnight show.
