Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi guys,
i'm looking for a course or lessons for a beginner, and also ones for an intermediate. I already have my dslr, and the good bit of knowledge i've picked up on here and the web, but you can never know enough :) and i've a friend who really doesn't have a clue and wants to learn.
can anyone recommend a cheap and cheerful course or lessons?
    thanks :D

    A location might help.

    Digitalbeginners run some good courses.

You could also look at joining your local camera club. The annual membership will be less than a course fee and you can learn a ot there. Each club is different but there are quite a few to choose between and find one that suits you. You will get out of it what you put in but it can give you the opportunity to get out taking photo's with other more experienced photographers. You will learn a lot more by taking photo's and making mistakes than in a classroom.
