    Now I know that Q is not the greatest music magazine, but once upon a time it was at the top of the pile. I know, I have them all. While reading this months issue in the loo(It dosen't take long to read these days) I noticed that they are compiling a list of the top 250 albums released since September 1986 when Q was first published. They are looking for people to send in their top 5. With that in mind and knowing it would be hard I tried. I got to 10 and cannot cut it further.

    So knowing how boardsies love their lists what are your top 10 albums since September 1986. No compilations or greatest hits.

    The following are my 10;

    1. 1986 Red Box - The Circle & The Square
    2. 1987 U2 - The Joshua Tree
    3. 1989 The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
    4. 1991 R.E.M. - Out Of Time
    5. 1991 U2 - Achtung Baby
    6. 1995 Radiohead - The Bends
    7. 1997 The Verve - Urban Hymns
    8. 2007 Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
    9. 2007 Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
    10. 2008 Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid

    There you go, see what you can come up with. Oh I know a lot of you were not born in 1986. Have mercy on an old curmudgeon.
