Well apparently its going to be released tomorrow and we will all be able to see our front doors on the interweb

Just thought we could start a thread for people to add pics of whatever they might like,maybe how-do drinking cans down the Quay or the like..

Surely they will have a clear picture looking down on waterford working before streetview is working.

I couldn't see how street view could possibly work while the clearer picture like they have in Dublin isn't up yet.

We shall see anyway.

As wellboy76 said, the satellite images on Google Maps are different from the images taken at road level by the Google Street View cars.

When Google Street View is online later today, it should be possible to drag the orange man icon over any line which shows up in blue on the map and see pictures of the street or road.
The blue dots which can be seen currently are only links to uploaded still photos of particular locations, and not real Street View as already available in other countries.

Some are in winter and others in summer.

I wanted that star from ziedth so I looked for Tawdy by Grace Dieu on the Tramore Rd.

Street view does a mad time warp by there. :eek:
