Weir seems to rely heavily on kicking in absolutely every situation. There is actually more to OH play, they'll score more tries with Jackson at 10.

Either does Dan Parks didnt stop him being the best OH during the 6N.

Never thought I'd read or agree with that statement

Didn't realise he was so young. From what I've seen though so far he doesn't look like he has a well rounded game.

It's a hell of a lot more rounded than most 10s were at his age.

He kicks a lot, but that's just him playing to his strengths. I'm a big fan of creative 10s but he seems to be a real prospect if he can start creating opportunities for Evans and Morrison.

Weir could be capped in the autumn. Phil Godman, normally Parks' back up, is injured.

The Scottish management should encourage either him or Jackson to move to Edinburgh after the world cup. Having Scotland's two best prospects playing at the same club isn't ideal.

There was murmurs of resurrecting the hapless Border Reivers. It would definitely suit the Jackson & Weir situation.

I don't think that is a runner. The SRU probably don't have the money and by the look of Edinburgh and Glasgow this year Scotland Rugby doesn't have the player depth to support a 3rd team.
