Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Umbro have delivered once again with this absolutely super effort for the new New York Cosmos kit.

Of course based on an old classic

That's the sex. The more plain, boring and retro jerseys become, the more likely I might buy one for the first time in years.

That is very nice. It looks like that belly hugging fabric that the Ireland jersey has too though.

It looks strange without a sponsor logo on the front.

There's not really that much difference, ours has a round neck collar instead. More or less the same kit otherwise.

sponsors logo's have absolutely runined every jersey they have ever been put on.

    Do the Cosmos still exist?

    Not gone on it myself,

But I never have been a fan of predominantly white jerseys.

I remember a few months ago a new Cosmo's team was set up with Pele as the president. Dont know how they are getting on though.

I'd have preferred something with a collar like this:

But it's still a class kit. Might become the first one I'll have bought in years

Always liked that shirt. Didn't the Cosmos also have a green shirt from that era? I really like the Umbro stuff and they excelled themselves with the England shirts. Can't beat the plain lines of retro shirts like that. Would love if United had the kits done by Umbro. They do a great line for Shamrock Rovers as well as they jerseys too: trackie tops. polos and cagoules. Stuff you would actually wear outside of football.
